Overview
Blue's Ferris Wheel is a ride found in Odd World.
During Chapter 2, the ride functions as a safe area. Players can board it to avoid the Friends.
Appearence
Blue's Ferris Wheel is a colorful ride with a cutout of Blue's head over the axis. The metal frame of the wheel is mostly black and metallic. A ring of rainbow lights frames the cutout, with another ring mounted on the rim. The spokes of the wheel are fitted with blue lights. Each car is royal blue with a glowing yellow crown on top. [1]
An alternate version appears in the lobby of Chapter 2. While the model is identical to the former, its colors are different. The lights around the rim and on the spokes are a pale green color. The crown on each car is a different color, creating a rainbow.
Behavior
This ride can be ridden by the players to hide from the Rainbow Friends. After entering the ride, the gate of the cart gets closed off, to prevent that the player jumps off mid-ride. The gate re-opens after the wheel made one full turn. The players can then leave the cart, or stay in, repeating the cycle once again.
Trivia
- The Ferris Wheel inside of the lobby of Chapter 2 is bugged and the carts move in weird directions.
- Currently, the Ferris Wheel appears in every Chapter.
