Overview
Cyan is a major antagonist in Rainbow Friends who first appears on Hour 4 of Chapter 2. She appears in Hour 4 of Chapter 2.
Cyan is the 6th Rainbow Friend to be introduced in the series.
Appearance and Physical Abilities
Appearance
Cyan is a vibrant, bipedal monster. She strongly resembles a theropod[1] dinosaur, her stance being balanced by a long, thick tail. She doesn't have any forelimbs. Cyan's jaws have the distinct form of a bear trap, sporting a unique crescent shape and large, interlocking teeth. Two eyes with vertical pupils are seated at the front of her face.

Hour 4
Her entering Odd World.
After the Technician savely exits the drop tower and reunites with the rest of the Fleeing Group, they discuss on what to do next. While they're discussing on what to do though, Cyan enters Odd World, investigating a ladybug and then preparing to hunt down the Fleeing Group.

Her behaviour is nearly identical to Blue. She usually wanders around and if a player enters Cyan's line of sight, she will begin to chase after them. She runs at the same speed as the players. Her mouth has different states depending on how far she is from the player. If she is far away from them, her mouth will be closed. If she is a bit closer, her mouth will begin to hang open. Only when she is very close will she begin to repeatedly snap her jaws. Players can avoid her by hiding inside of a box, locker, crouch space, or simply by outrunning her. When Cyan loses sight of the player, she will run to where she last saw them go before pausing to think. Then, she will continue wandering. If the box is equipped out of her line of sight, even if she is actively in pursuit, Cyan will be unable to find them. Attempting to equip the box while still in her line of sight, however, will not fool her - a red exclamation mark will appear, indicating she still knows the player is inside. This is only the case for the box - even if Cyan watches someone crouch beneath an object or enter a locker, she is unable to reach them and loses interest.

Hour 5

Cyan makes a major appearance in the finale, hunting the players through the entire duration of the hour. She first tries to ambush the Players while they're riding inside the minecart. She fails to attack them however and the players successfully avoid her.[2]. She appears for a second time at the end of the Roller Coaster, blocking the normal, visitor exit of the ride. She fails again to attack the cart though and the Players enter the garbage shaft.

1st Person
When a player is caught by Cyan, she will lung at them and bite into their head, killing them.
3rd Person
When a player is caught by Cyan, she will bite them, throw them into the air only to catch her with her mouth and then shake them to death.

| Similar to the other Friends, Cyan hunts down the players inside the map. What's making her special is that she see boxed players moving, and will agro if they do so for too long. This can become deadly if a insta kill friend, like Green or Purple, are around as players need to move away from them to not die. |  |
Strategies
- If combined with Green or Purple, Cyan can become a big threat, as you cannot move while shes looking since she would agro, but you would die if you wouldn't because of the aformentioned Friends. Be aware of her location to avoid these situations.
- If seen, you should try to find a safe area as soon as possible, as you could end up running into other Friends.
- Be aware that Cyan is able to climb ladders, so don't climb them up in hopes of escaping from her easily.

- Cyan is the one of three Rainbow Friend that can detect players hiding in a box without seeing them equip it, the others being Green and Purple.
- It is possible to avoid Cyan getting agro by stopping for a second after moving for a moment.
- Cyan and Blue are the only Rainbow Friends that chase the players at the end of each chapter.
- Cyan was discovered in Charcle’s inventory before Chapter 2 was released.
- Cyan is the third and last monster introduced in Chapter 2, behind Yellow and the Lookies.
- Cyan is so far the only confirmed female Rainbow Friend.
- Cyan is named "Cyan_Moonster" in the game files.
- Cyan has the shortest jumpscare of all the Rainbow Friends.
- Green is currently the tallest known monster, with 12.2 studs in height (3.41 Meters). However, Blue is taller if his crown is included[3] and Cyan is taller if she is focusing on a boxed player.[4]
- If a boxed player moves directly under Cyan, her head will turn in strange ways, snapping back-and-forth.
- If the hour is completed while Cyan is watching a player, the lightning symbols will remain above their head whenever they are in motion for the remaining duration of the game.[5]
