Hemlock Woods is the main setting of Chapter 1. It is a showcase designed around the Rainbow Friends and the location where they were made.
History
The Hemlock Woods was founded by Oswald D. Davis. It has various signs saying "BIO HAZARD" or "WARNING", indicating something happened within the showcase. Not much else is known about the history.
Overview
After the first cutscene with the bus crashing, the players will be told to collect different items for The Scientist in order to escape. Blue, Green, Orange, and Purple will try to kill you while you do so. If the player lives past this, they will be invited to a fake party where they will then escape Hemlock Woods through a vent.
In Chapter 2, the players do not return to Hemlock Woods, though there are various references to this location.

- Hemlock Woods is based of the Rainbow Friends Funtime Cartoon, where it is the home of the Rainbow Friends.
- Hemlock Woods is likely part of Odd World, since the Scientist, Blue, Green ,and Purple were able to get to the theme park quicker than the players, who left the facility earlier than them.
