The Hemlock Woods Facility is the main setting of Chapter 1. It held different kinds of attractions for children, each themed around the show. Behind the scenes, it likely was the locations where the monsters were created and held.
History
The Hemlock Woods Facility was founded by Oswald D. Davis following the show's success. The location contained different kinds of attractions for children themed around the show, such as a log ride through different places of the show, a museum containing different historical items of the show's production or company, a theater, and a party room having a stage for the Rainbow Friends. During the time of Chapter 1, the location has received light - medium damage in some areas after being closed down. Various signs warn from "BIOHAZARD" and "DO NOT ENTER".
During Chapter 1
The players get dragged into the facility following the bus crash. Over the course of 4 nights, they have to retrieve different items for the Scientist whilst avoiding Blue, Green, Orange, and Purple. In Night 5, they get invited to a fake party by the Scientist, which should've ended in their demise. They manage to escape the facility by climbing through the vents.
