Overview
Technician is a supporting character in Chapter 2. He is unnamed in the actual story, however, he is referred to as both Technician (files) and Old Man (by Scientist and files). He instructs the player to do different tasks to escape Odd World.

Appearance
The Technician has long, slicked back silver hair as well as a silver beard and black glasses. His outfit consists of a white shirt, black pants, a black leather jacket, and black shoes. His character model is wider than the average R15 model, resembling more early Roblox character builds.

Hour 1-2 []
The Technician and the players discussing on what to do.
The Technician makes his debut in Hour 1, where he is seen attempting to cut through a fence into Odd World with a pair of scissors. He agrees to help the players after they explain their situation, although not believing them, instructing them to find an SOS light.
When the players put the bulbs in the SOS light, he is surprised to see the theme park has one. He sees Blue walk by and helps the players make a new escape plan. He suggests using a Battering Ram to break open the garage door in order to escape, instructing the players to collect gas canisters for it.

After the Battering Ram is fulled up, they use it on the garage door and successfully break it open. However, Lookies fly out of it, throwing him to the ground unconscious. He is put up on top of Green's Drop Tower by the Scientist, which is full of explosives slowly rising up to meet him.
Hour 3 []
The Technician stuck on the Drop Tower.
On this Hour, the Technician is seen stuck on the Drop Tower, which has "explosives" on it. The players have to bring back all of the Lookies and he'll be set free unharmed. If time runs out before all of the Lookies are captured, the explosives will be shown to be harmless fireworks. Regardless of either outcome, the Technician will be lowered down from the tower.
Upon meeting back up with the players, he will point out the Giant Looky in front of Orange's Cavern Coaster. He says that the Giant Looky is blocking the escape route that they'll need to use in order to escape. He also states that he would do anything for a slice of cake. The players will gather sugar packs to make the cake.
Hour 4-5 []

Trivia

- He seems to have knowledge about the Lookies due to knowing cake would attract the Giant Looky from Chapter 2.
- This contradicts his disbelief in the Rainbow Friends.
- He knows a lot about the Rainbow Friends due to knowing all the monsters and how to get out.
- There is a bug where he will occasionally have no shirt or be fully naked.
- He has the same height and body as Business, and both of the former plus the same face as Trenton.
- He shares the same model as Uncle Bob from Spider.
